That'll tell you if it's fuel related. Maybe it sucked air into the fuel system (damn plastic fuel lines next to a hot engine) or bled back to the tanks overnight. May have air in the fuel system. On the secondary fuel filter housing, there is a primer pump. Turn it counter clockwise and give it a few good strokes. If you you feel no hard resistance, you have air in the system. Pull off the fuel filter and make sure it is full. I'd wait a minute or two and try it again and it might work, and it might not. I just learned to live with it.
