WebI visited for cycling the Shiminami Kaido. So I needed a base at the end of the ride. Onomichi is interesting but not sufficient to visit on the basis of the old town or the views from the observatory. I recommend to any cyclist to base their sightseeing from Imabari. Hotels are much better value. A 3 star hotel cost for a 1 star in Onomichi.
