I couldn't make up my mind among the j-frames so I have ended up with a 317 (2 in barrel), a 43c and a 63-5 (the newest 8 shot version, 3 in barrel). First time out it locked up so bad I couldn't pull the trigger. Sent it back to S&W and they destroyed it and sent me a new one. First time out, ditto. This time, they sent it back. It works, but you have to tap the ejector with a mallet to eject shells. Sigh.
